Up Close and Personal with the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE
I DEFINATLY LIKE THIS ONE MORE THAN THE BUGATTI.....
Though the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Handling GT Evoluzione was originally announced at the Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari has just put up a gallery of pics that show off this ridiculously-sexy supercar. The HGTE package brings even more precision and handling to the 599 GTB Fiorano with tweaks like lowered height, rear anti-roll bar, modified magnetorheological suspension and stiffer springs, upgraded electronics, and grippier tires for tighter cornering. Visually there are only subtle differences including 20-inch split-rim wheels, matte black rear diffuser, and leather, black Alcantara and carbon fiber accents on the inside. For most of us, the 599 GTB Fiorano didn’t need much of an upgrade, but it’s sure nice to look at either way. The HGTE package has an upgrade cost of around $42 K. [via AutoBlog]

Timex Expedition WS4: View the Time Widescreen Edition
I WONDER WHETHER I WOULD GET THIS OR NOT.......IT SEEMS LIKE I GOT TOO MUCH GOIN ON. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
For the past decade or so, the widescreen has taken over home entertainment. Whether it be an uber-thin LCD or home projector with a big white wall, everything seems to look a little nicer in widescreen. Testing the scope of the trend, Timex decided to see if widescreen could even make time look better. Indeed, it appears that it has. The Timex Expedition WS4, due for release this May, is a standard multi-function outdoor sports watch with altimeter, barometer, compass, chronograph and thermometer, all displayed on a large widescreen. Wear it around town and let everyone know that you’re a balla that escapes the hassles of everyday life to heli-drop into the Amazon once or twice a month. The widescreen ensures that 4 separate measurements are easy-to-read and crystal-clear. Retail set for $199.

iStick Concept
I HOPE IT IS AS CHEAP AS THE IPOD SHUFFLE?
As if the new iPod Shuffle isn’t tiny enough, designer Alexei Mikhailov has some ideas of his own for the iPod’s future. The appropriately-named iStick folds the aesthetic of the iPhone and iPod Touch into a finger-sized dongle. All four sides of this conceptual gadget are touchable, allowing for plenty of interface tinkering in a tiny package, at the expense of a little carpal tunnel from all the wrist-twisting. The silver cube on the end is a scroll wheel, which would presumably allow for easy volume adjustment without a glance at the interface, but I keep envisioning a USB cover instead. To complete the dream device, the earbuds are wireless — and just like the Shuffle, it would probably cost extra to buy compatible third-party headphones. [via Industrial Design Served]

But that’s not all: “Glo-cation” technology allows campers to find their site via SMS messaging or RFID signal, lighting up the shelter like a beacon. Winter campers will delight in a ground sheet that heats automatically when temperatures fall below a certain level. Roughing it, this is not.[via Gizmodo]

Estella Warren’s $1.95 Million Home For Sale
Model-turned-“Planet of the Apes” remake actress Estella Warren recently put her Beverly Hills home on the market for a price so reasonable, celebrity real estate blogs have started questioning her urgency. Built in 1959, the “Regency style,” single-story home is small by Hollywood standards — only 2,250 square-feet — and at $1.95 million, doesn’t come with many of the glitzy trappings of other area estates. Though you won’t find a plush media room or giant eat-in kitchen, the home does have quaintness many Beverly Hills homes lack, like French doors, colored glass in the bathroom and charming cabinetry and tile work.
